说到 , 我一直听说吸血鬼怕大蒜,但是我 Dracula 读了一半了,这一部分似乎并不是直接用大蒜,而是蒜花:

更神奇的是,我上网查了一下 wild garlic, 发现竟然是德国常见的 Bärlauch??季节到了大家都会摘回家做点叶子菜的那种。所以不知道吸血鬼怕大蒜到底是怕那个味道还是气味就够了,不过应该是同一种物质。我不知道蒜花什么味道,但是葱花和葱是一个味道…
虽然是吸血鬼小说的鼻祖,但是吸血鬼怕大蒜的传说应该是先于 Dracula 的,有变种也不奇怪。而且 Dracula 里面吸血鬼大白天都可以出没,后世的小说里吸血鬼就开始变成怕阳光的夜行动物了。

一直听说每到春天大家就会去采 Bärlauch 做菜吃,所以心生向往。结果后来听说 Bärlauch 就是野大蒜的叶子,感到有点失望。后来又看到菜谱说 Bärlauch 是大家春天用来代替葱的,更加失望了。直到今天在超市买了点 Bärlauch 尝了一下…这完全就是葱嘛,我为什么不直接买葱 :aru_0451:
