说到 #Dracula, 我一直听说吸血鬼怕大蒜，但是我 Dracula 读了一半了，这一部分似乎并不是直接用大蒜，而是蒜花：

更神奇的是，我上网查了一下 wild garlic, 发现竟然是德国常见的 Bärlauch??季节到了大家都会摘回家做点叶子菜的那种。所以不知道吸血鬼怕大蒜到底是怕那个味道还是气味就够了，不过应该是同一种物质。我不知道蒜花什么味道，但是葱花和葱是一个味道…
虽然是吸血鬼小说的鼻祖，但是吸血鬼怕大蒜的传说应该是先于 Dracula 的，有变种也不奇怪。而且 Dracula 里面吸血鬼大白天都可以出没，后世的小说里吸血鬼就开始变成怕阳光的夜行动物了。
