我某同事转换毫不相干的 topics 的做法是加上一句And Now for Something Completely Different，我比较想像图上这个人一样搞诶，但是我又不会什么乐器，难道我要唱歌？？突然想起 Gegen die Wand 的 Interlude 就是有人在唱歌，很喜欢的电影！
这个人讲的关于 how to pick problems 的一段话我还蛮喜欢的：
Keep in mind that things change fast, […]. Fifteen years went from that to that, and even methods which are slow now will ultimately become fast. So you could literally sit on the couch and just wait and things will get faster. […] They're going to get faster and faster, even if you don't do anything. Furthermore, you're also competing with thousands of really smart people which are going to do everything anyway. But you don't have to compete with them, just use them as your own research lab, they're going to do all these things, and then all you need to do are things which are different. Those are the things that are going to expand the space and advance ideas faster. That's where you want to focus your energy.

也太好笑了，昨天去听音乐会，不同曲目之间会有中场休息。今天来听这个人的 talk，不同 topics 之间的中场休息是一个小型音乐会。
